Welcome to the San Antonio Birth Center... the only freestanding birthing center in San Antonio!

We provide care for families wanting a natural childbirth in a luxurious home like setting.  The birth center is located in the heart of the San Antonio Medical Center across the street from major hospitals, and is staffed with two very experienced and compassionate midwives. We are a full service facility providing prenatal care, labor, delivery, waterbirth, and six weeks postpartum care for mom and baby.  Many additional services are available such as childbirth classes, breastfeeding classes, doula labor support, and well-woman care.

We have two luxurious birthing suites available along with a spacious and deep jacuzzi tub surrounded by mosaic tile.  Women absolutely love to labor and give birth in it. Each birth room has a private bathroom.  The larger birth room also has a private shower.  Our waiting room feels more like a comfy living room and has a gorgeous set of leather furniture with all pieces capable of reclining so that your family and friends are comfortable during your labor and birth. 

Our staff of midwives and doulas are very experienced in natural childbirth.  Holly and Alisa have had private practices in the San Antonio area for many years and are well known for being skilled midwives.  Each midwife is certified by NARM and licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services.  Each midwife maintains current certifications in CPR and Neonatal Pulmonary Resuscitation.
