San Antonio Birth Center
We have a terrific team that consists of three Midwives who are Certified Professional Midwives and are Licensed to practice midwifery in the state of Texas. Our staff of midwives, doulas, and nurses are very experienced in natural childbirth. We have helped hundreds of women give birth to their babies! Each midwife maintains current certifications in CPR and Neonatal Pulmonary Resuscitation.
We provide care for families wanting a natural childbirth in a luxurious home like setting. The birth center is located in the heart of the San Antonio Medical Center across the street from major hospitals. We are a full service facility providing prenatal care, labor, delivery, waterbirth, and six weeks postpartum care for mom and baby. Many additional services are available such as childbirth classes, breastfeeding classes, doula labor support, well-woman care including pap-smears, STD testing, and family planning which includes birth control pills and natural family planning counseling.
We have two luxurious birthing suites available along with a spacious and deep jacuzzi tub surrounded by mosaic tile. Women absolutely love to labor and give birth in it. Each birth room has a private bathroom. The larger birth room also has a private shower. Our waiting room feels more like a comfy living room and has a gorgeous set of leather furniture with all pieces capable of reclining so that your family and friends are comfortable during your labor and birth.
